I read this book but listening to the CD's was the most wonderful experience. You just have to listen to it over and over. This has been a wonderful blessing to our family. You will want to listen and follow along in the book at the same time. If you never do another thing , get this set of CD's

Although The Shack is a fiction story, there is definitely some truth to it. Based on author's comments, the characters are made up but the bottom line is that he's been through similar story to Mack's, his wife is similar to Nan, he has 3 children on his own, his niece passed away like Missy (although she was not murdered). But overall I didn't want this book to end. The endless conversation between Mackenzie, Papa, Jesus and Sarayu I could read over, and over again. It definitely raised my vibration so big thank you to Paul Young.
